Bluefin Chips

HI Guys,

i am looking at chipping my standard A3 04 Reg 140 TDI.

I am looking at purchasing a bluefin chip just wondering for the guys that have done this

1 what are the power gains from the standard 140BHP
2 what is a sensible amount of money to pay for this Mod??
3 what would you consider upgrading after the re map??? Exhaust etc??

I've had bluefin on my Golf and possibly will have it on the A3, cost wise you will get a forum discount and a power run if you visit the HQ.

Power gains vary, mine went from 155 upto 182 torque was 402NM

Yes you could consider an exhaust but it will really be for looks rather than performance.

agree with steve, great product and £509 (15% discount) if you mention UKmkivs forum - this only applies to the HQ at Bucks though.

My 2.0tdis have ranged anything from 179 to 197 - it all depends on what the engine makes as stock plus all the usual variables associated with Dyno runs, an average of 180bhp is realistic but the proof is in the driving, very smooth and progressive and much, much quicker through the gears.

If you require switchability from map to standard its the best choice for the money IMO on the 2.0tdi.
