    Wheel centre caps

Just noticed I'm missing one of my little plastic 'four ring' centre caps from one of the alloys.
How much is one of them going to sting me?

What kind of cap? is it the small button ones or the ones on the likes of RS4 alloys which is more like a plate?

I doubt you can get one separately but it looks like you can get a set for roughly £15 - may as well replace them all and make them look fresher

    It's the wee button ones.
Anyone know the part number for them?
    For the 18" S-line wheels.

The centre caps should be the same size for all alloys, as they're based on the centre bore size...

Only the new A5/S5 have an oddly star shaped centre cap which covers the bolt holes too.

    Bowfer,

Just incase you haven't found the part number yet:-

    4B0 601 170

My source shows the price as 1.12p but that can't be right?

And just to clarify the above post. There are several part numbers for different wheels so they are *not* all the same. The part number quoted is for the 18" Sline 5 spoke standard alloys.

I'm an optimist but I don't think it helps much.

They are the same size and all will fit.

The only variance is in colour and style of Audi badge.

If he's buying a set of 4 then should look at the available options and pick the nicer ones... (it's the small touches which make or break a car).

Well I'm not arguing that they may be the same size etc. But the parts catalog lists quite a few different part numbers depending on the style of wheel. If they were all identical then surely they would all have the same part number. The colour code is added to the end of the part number so it is definitely not a could issue here. For the wheel in question here it is either the above part number or with 7ZJ on the end if you want them in grey metalic.

Also, why would he want to buy four when he only wants one?

Just thought I'd point that out before someone goes and buys something thinking they would fit.

    Cheers for that.
I'm not interested in changing them for better ones, as the car will be going back to the leasing company in a few weeks.

didn't realise they car was going back, but thanks to tyre fitters with no respect they do get scuffed during wheel balancing/changing etc. For the silly cheap price, a nice shiny new set would fix the scuffed look!!
