A3 Instrument Cluster With Colour DIS (Not Red)?? Part No. Req

Hi Ladies & Gents

Does anyone know if the instrument cluster comes with colour DIS for the A3 (8p), as iv heard the RNS-E unit works best with colour DIS, is this true??

When installing a new instrument cluster with colour DIS, (My current Instrument cluster has RED DIS) does require use of VAG-COM?

Also does anyone have the part no of the instrument cluster with colour DIS??

I don't think the A3 ever came with a colour DIS.
 
cheers mate, thats cleared up alot. thats probably why i had difficulty fnding outmore information about it

I think I saw a colour DIS on a picture of the new A3 convertible so it may be an option on next years model. Whether this could be retrofitted to an existing A3? Who knows, but personally I doubt it
