How do you test if you got Adaptive Lights?

I have just taken delivery of my A3.
I have ordered Xenons Plus with Adaptive.

However unlike me girlfriend's a4 the lights dont seem to move at all.

Is there a test i can do to see if this option is actually working?

I dont want to leave it as its a expensive option!

Park facing wall/garage door, put on full lock. If it moves it's adaptive.

Guess better call my dealer tommorow.

Dont all Xenon lights do a little self test anyway?

My old golf did!

I think they only move when at speed, but I could be wrong!!
