The elsawin program is just a very detailed service manual for dealers. It has no other functions than a reference guide to aid dealers in servicing/maintenance of vehicles, Very handy if your a fiddler like me.

Regarding this and your previous thread. Look the wrong spare key i have for my old car is just sitting in a drawer gathering dust.
Would it be any good to you? Can you change sword and then re-chip?
Its a 3 position key fob.

cheers the key part no was 8po 837 231 thats what audi said if the numbers the same that wouid be great

Hi Vince,
from the number running inside the sword closure its 8E0837220.
I guess this won't be any good to you either then. I just thought it was the sword that counts for the car and the fob can be programmed for any Audi.
Still there if you want it.

thanks anyway jimmy i think it must be something to do with frequency mhz must be that part number that they said i needed must be the correct frequancy i couid be wrong but thats what it must be, i've seen 1 on ebay with the same number
