A week to go to my shiny new S3 pick up but
Anyone had this problem? My A3 Sportback 2.0T Quattro developed an engine management fault about six weeks ago. Rac called out and they diagnosed low fuel pressure fault during cold start. Fault was reset but came back the next morning.
My local Audi garage took it in and replaced pressure sensor or something like that but on pick up the light came back on again. Doh! to Audi.
They wrote to German Techy chaps and they recommended renewing High pressure fuel pump.
Its been in today for replacement but surprise surprise Cilla, the fault lamp came on again before I'd even left the garage forecourt. Doh!!!!!
Engine management fault 2 Audi 0.
Now i ain't going to over worry it as I say goodbye to Sportback next thursday, but thought it might be worth asking the question or for that matter is anyone else out there had similiar?
