Hi,
Been looking for a set of BBS LM alloys for my new A3 2008 sportback.
I will be sticking to 18"... will these wheels fit OK?

I have not seen a a3 with these on so worried they wont fit.

A:think:

depends on the width (J) and offset (ET)

also the stud diameter/pattern

consider fitment with tyres aswell

the LM's need to be:

PCD of 5x112
ET of 45-55

Are you planning on lowering the car perhaps on coilovers?

18s might look a bit small for the A3 since the lm's are dished and the only way to pull them off on the car would to be having it on the deck!

I have a photoshop of bbs lm's on a sportback on my laptop which i can send you this evening for a look

here is a pic of my mates A4 with 19" BBS LM's on his A4 S-Line

Hi,

I just worried about the right quality aswell as the rubbing issues.
I also believe tire cost will be more.

Although if 19 are the way to go i might consider it.

Is there any owners out there with BBS LM wheels on their A3?

Ive got BBS CH's, 19" and fit perfectly.
Boydie also has these and he has coilovers, looks great!
Mines are for sale in classified section if you are interested, £1250

yeah i have 19s and coilovers lowered 35mm all round

the tyres are made by federal and were £100 each so not overly pricey in my opinion for 19" tyres

LM's though will be in and around £2000 without tyres if you are buying new!

i already have the LM's to fit my A3 sitting in the garage but wont get round to fitting them for another week or so, so therefore i would say, dont get them  haha :beee:

Hi,

would you mine taking a pic when you have got them installed?

Also are they 18" or 19"?

Thanks

Alisdair
