New S3 Gear Knob will it fit?

the actual knob bit will probably fit but the gaiter and clips are included in the price which i am not sure will fit, im not aware of the 8L S3 layout.
you could just take the knob off and attach it to your existing gaitor

Seems to have been some sort of database glitch this morning at around 8am. Whatever was done to resolve the issue looks to have removed some of the posts.
In one of the now missing responses to this thread somebody had made a comment about the 8L layout probably being different, but asked that Russ take a photo of his knob and post it for us all to see.
I had a great post all set to go about this being a family website, but unfortunately, nobody will get to read it now.

I'd be interested to know what I could change my 02 S3 gear knob with - the chrome coating is coming off the top of mine (very disappointing)
