Right the RS4 Replicas that James (MarriedBlonde) bought from SouthCoast Wheels are showing a problem with soft paint - basically I am starting to get lots of stonechips appearing.

So I have a number of options :

1. Replace them with Mom FXL One in black

2. Refurbish them in Anthracite.

3. Refurbish them in Silver.

4. Refurbish the original S-Line Alloys (RS6) in Anthracite.

5. Look for a different set of Alloys.

So looking for some opinions to help my choice.

I say option 2!

I'd go for the refurb if cost effective.

On a separate note - any news on the DSG pedals for the wifes Jetta J or are they no longer sourceable sorry to hijack the thread - Spin

Right got my wheel types wrong. Ooops

I currently have the new style RS4 reps on the car with the stone chip issue.

I also have the original S-Line RS6 style OEM alloys, only one has a minor curb mark.

So the poll (not that anyone has used it) is wrong.

So the concensus seems to be to get the new style RS4 rep refurbished in Anthracite ?

Cheers,

Paul

What happened the the RS6s that came with your car MB?

I'd say stick with stock by the way.

I have them boxed up without tyres, came as part of the deal.

I'd just like to add that the kerbing on one of them was done by the wife when the car was 5 days old!

She came to pick me and a mate up in the early hours, managed to drive the car about 10 metres before being pulled over by the cops and then dinged a a rim.
