    DRL question

Normally when the DRL's are on I'm in the car - obviously!
I see the reflection sometimes in the car in front so I know they're working, but I had occasion to be out of the car while the engine was running today, and I was at the back... no lights??? Is that right/normal or should they all be on - a Volvo has back and front on (or at least I think it does?)
I'm doubting myself now... has anybody else checked or do you know if it's just front lights?

Just fronts on mine too mate, although i believe you can change the setting with vag-com to enable rear lights with DRL activation..

The normal 'European' spec for DRLs is to have front lights only. The main reason for the use of DRLs is to make a vehicle coming towards you more visable to both pedestrians and other drivers at junctions and during overtaking. Therefore there is no need for rear lights.

If the visability is poor then normal lights should be used rather than just DRLs. Only the front DRLs are fitted with 'long-life' bulbs.
