Got up this morning and found a screw in the back drivers side tyre.
So after a trip to local centre i'm £123 lighter...
Is this a good price?? they fitted the same make and size as the original..
Thanks

What size and make did you get?

*edit* going by your car spec, id say you have 225/40z18, so thats not a bad price, it all depends on the make really

It's not a great price.
You can get F1's or Sportmaxxes for under £110 a tyre, fitted.
It's not a rip-off price either though.

If you car is pretty new, it most likely has Continentals fitted .......... the price you paid isn't a bad price at all if thats what was replaced.:icon_thumright:

Could you not get it repaired?

No, i was told as the screw was in the corner/outside edge that it was not safe to repair... ****** shame as it was hardly worn..

Paid £125 fitted for a 225/40x18 92Y SportContact2 on my A3 TDI quattro the other day. Got a flat on the A1 and the ****** wheel was seized onto the hub - nice!
