    S3 centre caps

Just wondering if anyone has had trouble with the highly polished circular part of the wheel centre caps. Mine started to discolour and develop "milky" patterns in them. I've had one changed under warranty and I'm currently waiting for another part to come in for a second one. I'll post a pic later if it stops raining!

    Regards, John.

What do you use to clean them? SOme of those alloy wheel cleaners are pretty corossive, and I recon they'll destroy the plastic caps in no time at all.

I just use water and the occasional blob of car shampoo.

Took my car in to the $tealer today because the plastic grill surrounding the fog light fell out yesterday. The service guy said this is a bit cheap isn't it, I agreed with him.Claerly the plastic hasn't been correctly moulded and so he orderded me a new one. I then pointed out the centre caps and he said thats not very good either,I'll order you 4 more.
he then came out after talking to the "warranty manager" and said thery were deicoloured due to me using wheel clearer, I then pointed out that I don't use anyting other than shampoo and then a wax coating and pointed out that only 2 out of the 4 had discoloured. He agree and ordered 4 as he commented it would be best to have a new "set".
