Ice Silver

My S3 is currently on order, and it will be in "Ice Silver", which has apparently replaced "Metallic Silver" for the 2008MY.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the two? Our friends at the TTOC seem to think that Ice Silver is pearlescent: see:

According to the Product Update for the 2008 Model Year, the new colour Deep Sea Blue, which replaces Moro Blue is pearl effect, but Ice Silver is listed just as metallic.

Tis what I was thinking..."ice" sounds a bit cooler than "light silver"

I'm convinced these colours are the same most of the time and it's just the marketing department changing the names.

My last car was Ebony Black, this one is Phantom Black. ******** if I can tell any difference!
