Piano Black Trim Removal - Sportbacl

Had a quick search around and cant find any how to for removing the interior strips of plastic in the doors/ash tray etc.

Thinking of the Brushed Ali trim and was wanting to know how easy it is to do and a quide would be usefull

Cheers fella, is there one for the ash tray too?

Basically No. There is an indication of how to remove the complete ashtray by just pulling it out from it's clips but no indication of how to remove the cover trim. I assume this is because there is normally no need for a dealer to remove the cover trim. The parts catalogue shows the cover trim in all the different finishes but it may well be glued into place.

Has anyone tried to change this cover ?

My own Sportback doesn't have one as I had the no-smoking pack.
