Well it looks like I can modify the exhaust on the A3 the same way as my old Golf. On the Golf 1.8T I fitted a 1.9 TDi centre straight through pipe and with the Oettinger Backbox it had a nice sound but not too noisey.
The BMM intermediate pipe is the same size as the BKD but doesn't have a middle silencer.
That and change the Back box and we'll see what the exhaust note sounds like.
