Parrot Phone Kit with MFSW controls

Just came across this nifty wee add-on. Allows your Parrot bluetooth kit to be controlled via the buttons on your MFSW.

    http://www.parrotkits.com/steeringwheel.html

$175 with shipping charges of $24 to Europe.

It works with the Parrot 3000 Evolution or Parrot MK6000 and allows you to install the kit without the controller button as the steering wheel controls all the functions.

There is an article on installing it in an A4 on AudiWorld: http://forums.audiworld.com/a4b7/msgs/57043.phtml, along with a step by step guide to installing the parrot kit in an A4: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec134.shtml

Yeah, looks pretty good. Only for I already have a Nokia 610 installed in my car I'd be seriously considering this.

Hey there, would really liek this, got a Nokia handsfree kit that interferes witht eh radio due to positioning, and doesn't use the MFSW so this woud be ideal, quick question though, is it possible to get any of these kits to integrate with the DIS?

According to a poster on AudiWorld:

The information display just says "PHONE" as does the radio display.

    The Parrot 'talks' to you.

For example...When you access the settings it says "Language-English". Scroll the right thumbwheel and it talks in French, Itallian, etc.

Tap the right button and it moves to the next option, volume.

The parrot says "volume" and pings every few seconds so you have a tone to set the volume by.

The other menues all work the same.

Looks like you can get that in the UK, called the parrot multican £60 from these people
inquired, and its not much more expensive than the Nokia 7k kit

Just persuaded my company to fit the CK3100 and multican, and replace the crappy Nokia CW-7k (placed next tot he head unit so it buzzed).
Really impressed, though the 'mode' button does not work, you can control all the functions with the other buttons on the MFSW. The mic and speakers are also much clearer, and also means you do not have to touch the phone to make calls (which you could not do with nokia kit as it was illegal).
Also impressed with the voice recognition which is pretty accurate.
If you have the choice, its worth the extra money over the nokia kit.
