A search has revealed nothing so can anyone tell me where the OBD port resides on a 3 door 2004 3.2 quattro?

It would be great to know this evening as I'm going to look at one tommorrow and want to run my VAG-COM on it.

Any other info? Is there some kind of cover I need to remove to get at it? I presume by steering rack you mean under the shroud that covers the steering column?

According to my workshop manual the OBD port is 'at dash panel carrier above accelerator pedal'

Underneath the dash on the driver's side. It's on the outside edge and is purple in colour. There's no cover on it - you can't miss it really.
