After I got it back I checked with Audi for the price of the button surround and it was pence so I carefully cut it where the wire feeds behind the dash. It just made everything a bit more neat I thought.

lol cheers mate i get you now ! how do u get the button out ? just pull it out or do you have to do it when the radio and that is out ?
looks great ! how much did it cost including fitting ? ive ordered a new A4 and forgot all about the bluetooth so im gonna get one of these fitted
