anyone had any dealings with this lot ?

got my a3 booked in for sat nav disc upgrade , strangely they want the car for most of the day.
they are giving me a courtesy car anyway but seems silly keeping the car for a whole day for just a disc swap.
sounds like audi hq are getting shafted for the labour

Some dealers are insisting on booking the car in incase it needs to be hooked up to the online system for a chat with the computers in Germany.

Although 95% of cars are upgraded automatically by the new disc with no intervention, some are prompting for PIN numbers. Also, my boss had his done at Listers Coventry yesterday and it took them a couple of hours to sort it out as it was being a right pain.

Oh well, got a spin in an RS4 Avant while we waited :)

I used to Amersham Audi for servicing but their prices went up fairly in proportion to the drop in quality of work and the standard of service. I gave up when they couldn't even answer the phone.

They were recently taken over and are under new management so be interesting to hear how you find them.

They were recently taken over by the Wayside Group. Along with Hitchin Audi. Not been back since they were taken over.

Never had a good experience with them, like people have said their customer service leaves something to be desired.

My dad always used to use them for his servicing on his cars as they were 10 minutes from his office.

Then I saw one of the invoices and I was shocked at how much he paid for oil, labour etc. I don't begrudge the dealers charging more, as they do have very high overheads etc, but when a car is out of warranty there is no justification, so he now takes it to a local specialist (not sure where).

He never had any complaints about the quality of work though...
