Ive got a 2006 audi a3 1.6 sport and was wondering if anyone knew if 20" wheels could be fitted? thanks in advance

I don't think so.

19"s usually suit the look of the car.

Seen 20's on a TT1, way to big inho. I would have thought the handling would be screwed with 20's on an A3 as you would really have to go for a non OEM ET and the rubber's profile would be minute. Plus i thing you will need to be good with a grinder too if you want to lower the car?
