Hi all

My car is due for a service soon, anyone know of the cheapest dealership in or around the Manchester (Ish) area??

Also, for all you guys on 'Longlife' service intervals, what sort of mileage were you on for the first service??

Cheers

Hi Mate
We can do servicing on your car
We do FULL service for £185.00 + VAT or a interim service for you for £114.00 + VAT
We dont agree with long life services as we believe that it is worth getting your car checked out every 10k miles or every year
But if you are determined to keep it on long life we can do that for you , just add approx another £40.00 Ish to the price

Mine is just under 8000 miles on the clock. DIS says 9500 miles or 40 days to service. This will take me up to 1st March when car is 2yrs old so have managed to eek it out for the max period possibe! Which is nice!

Hi Sarah

The service will have to be done at Main Dealer due to the re-sale/Service Stamp etc.

Do you work at a Audi main Dealer?

Lee

Hi Lee
I used to work at a Skoda main dealer and I was a service manager for a few years
Mmmm I dont think that the dealer service is not that well thought of just now
dealers have been known to miss things out on the services
I have booked a TT in today that has had dealer service and they have NEVER done the Haldex service :(
We can also service cars that are still within warranty and not affect anything
We have 2 technicians that are VW trained too
Daft here about our VAG cars

Give PSI tuning a call. They are nr Stoke, 5 mins off the M6. VAG specialists, and he runs an Audi himself. Very good work and good prices. 01782 563 703

I have heard VERY good stories about the customer service Macc Audi give to their customers

I'll be taking mine there for its service!

Yeah, I have to agree that Links Audi in Macc are superb. I travel 35 miles from north Manchester to Links, and the price I was quoted for my service which is due now was the same as Awesome GTi.

I'd consider Awesome, but at the same cost as a main dealer, I dunno. I'll be taking my car to Awesome for a remap, and then for some big brakes pretty soon.

Another thumbs up for Macc Audi (Links) here.... :icon_thumright:

Thanks for the replies guys

I'll try Macc Audi then, its only 10 or so miles from me!

Cheers
