Vag-com and xeons

Yep - vag.com deliberately flickers the voltage to prevent the use of aftermarket xenons when its set to "halogen headlights".

I think you have two options - either buy an aftermarket kit (or ballasts) that are designed to overcome the problem or get someone with vag.com software to change the config settings from "Halogen" to "Xenon".

Isn't it more a case of halogen and xenon lighting have different power requirements!!!

Someone with Vag-Com wil lbe able to change the light setting on your car.
