glovebox din slot

thinking of putting one of these dvb-t tuners in the car to hook up to the rns-e , is the glovebox with the cd changer a standard din slot ?

and you'll need a dietz adapter if you want to do that. I have a freeview DVB in my S4 hiddent behind the glovebox plugged into a 3 way video switcbox (for a dvd input also). Works well and will be better when they ramp up the power of freeview...

yes got the multimedia adapter on order.

the unit is very small so it will fit behind the standard glovebox.

got a amplified booster aerial to go with it.

Yep, I got a similar one (off ebay) and an amplified aerial; Its not perfect though even so as digital coverage isnt as good as it should be. My amped aerial is stuck onto the windscreen near the tax disk. Did you get the single box dietz with tv in motion?

tv in motion im not too bothered about as i would only really use the tv when parked up.

you can get the rns-e decoded , so you dont need to strip the can bus of the speed singnal which is what the dietz does.

got one of these antennas seems to work okay , tested it in the house.

Yep, I'm with you on the tv in motion thing... and thats the same aerial I have!..
