Lacquer on front bumper of my 54 plate sportback is flaking off - cool feature huh? Will take it into dealer next week - wonder what the respnse will be - anyone else had similar duff paint problem???

I picked up my Misano Red A3 3.2 S-Line yesterday.
It's a a one-owner, Nov 2005 car, and the lacquer is flaking off in patches all over the front bumper. The dealer I bought it from is sorting it for me under the factory warranty. They didn't envisage any problem at all with getting Audi to pay up for it.

Mine a 55 plate (sept 05) in brilliant red.
I have an area on the front bumper - around 5cm - where the lacquer has flaked off. It was inspected by an Audi paint specialist a couple of weeks ago to see if it would be repaired under warranty. The guy was out with magnifying glasses and all!!
Anyway, his verdict was a factory issue, and it would be re-sprayed under warranty.
