04 TDI sport with loads of options inc leather, xenons BOSE etc list price in 04 £23,444. Deal i've struck is to change to a brand new same spec car but with 170 TDI engine - price to change £4,500

what you reckon?

sounds like a very good deal. 2 year car old only lost £4.5... bite that dealers hand off.

before they change their minds
I was offered a nice deal on Thursday evening, walked into the show room Friday lunch time and the dealer decided to pull out of the deal.
The words ...sorry our fault...and that was all

Agree but i would check over the car you are buying throughly as that seems a bit eager

well... all is not as it seems.... there is a bit of messing about to be done (selling mine privately for £16k - had plenty of calls its like a hot potato!!!)) plus dealer givin me 12.5% off brand new factory order, plus i wangled an extra £1650 off from audi uk for some ahem 'problems I had' anyway after maths i will have a brand new car exact same spec but a 170 TDI and it will cost me £4,300 to change
