Vibration through clutch pedal

Got a 2.0t sportback, seem to feel a vibration through the clutch pedal when you pull away, is this standard or just me?

Haven't thought about when pulling away but on all the A3 petrols I have driven you can feel vibration thru the clutch pedal if you rest your foot on the clutch pedal at standstill. Others have commented on the same too.

This is even worse on the diesel - u get a kind of throbbing sensation, however I've found this to be no longer a problem as because of this it has stopped me from resting my foot on the lcutch pedal which is an obvious bad habit and will wear your clutch out quicker.. so perhaps this should be seen as a good audi A3 feature!!!!!!
