Sounds like a fair price to me! How does it compare to others on the Audi site?

i think audi dealers are very hopeful with their prices.
it`s about 2.5k less than an audi dealer.
trouble is i cant travel 300 miles round trip to see a car.

i also have a p/x

The price audi have displayed is not the price you pay...

im aware of that but i doubt they are gonna knock 2-3k off do you ?

That's not what M-B meant. Perhaps up to a grand can be negotiated off. But that's a good price to start off with, for a dealer.

reckon i could knock any money off the £14995 asking price ?

a grand off should be do-able, but also go for a years top-up of warranty over the 3 years manufacturers - thats worth an extra £850.

finally got some pics

did the s line have the option of leather instead of the cloth inserts ?

or has the car had a retrim. also found a few options on the car the dealer failed to mention , bose symphony, headted seats, armrest, if it had the dimming mirror it would be excelent.

two owners on a young car should i be worried ?

I bank on getting around 10% off a car when I buy it. Depends how willing you are to negotiate. Also are you willing to walk away if you don;t get the deal! So no you won't get £2-3K off a £17K car but you'll get a better warrenty and have more comeback should there be a major problem with the car!

You can also negotiate on the finance at ai dealer as well.

But you pays your money and you take your chances!!!

14,995 is about 1,800 less than what CAP says, even without the leather. 2 owners is no problem imho, service history is.

i` dont how warranty makes a difference. there is 16 months audi warranty left
if it break`s can i just not take it to my local audi dealer ?

i have entertained audi dealers before and they have not been very flexible in the past , and i would prefer to start negotiations from a good price to begin with.

was the full leather option black or black and grey like in the pics ?

Not sure but I have seen that colour combo in an A4 S-line.

The more owners a car has the less it is worth, dealers will argue differently when trying to sell you the car but come PX time it is a different story. I'm sure someone on here had problems with this in the past.

If your happy with the price and the car then go for it, out of interest is it a proper dealer or a guy trading from home?

J.

yes they are a pukka dealer with 100 cars or so.

waiting for a cost to change figure from them as i have a p/x

found this one too they are asking £14750 for this with bose symphony, cruise .

41k miles

Thats a later built car as it has the different gear lever surround!

yep i noticed that it`s a month younger than the other one , but 200 miles away from me.

it has less options too.

so far the other one has bose upgrade , symphony, cruise, heated seats, full leather interior, autodimming mirror, arm rest ,rear sunshade,

the dealer only mentioned it had cruise. :arco:

i was asked how much i was looking to change so i said 2.5k

this is for a p/x of a leon fr 54 reg 14.5k miles in silver against the audi asking price of 15k

am i being optimistic ?

p/x price for the leon is 11.5k according to glasses and parkers.

so that leaves 3.5k difference probly i would assume the dealer could knock £500 off the a3 price.

3k sounds more realistic , oh well will see what they say tomorrow

spoke to the dealer

he has given me a cost to change of £3000 for p/x a seat leon tdi fr 54reg 14k miles

for an audi a3 s-line dsg with 45k miles with bose symphony, cruise, heated seats, armrest.auto dimming mirror

should i go for it ?

got the new car yesterday

loving the dsg

best 3k i ever spent

just hope you dont get a knocking noise like me
p.s well to the audi club

just bitter and twisted about audi and A3 s-lines at the mo
Read my thread about the knocking noise
