Whilst doing the weekly clean of my 5 Star Alloys I noticed a chip on the inside of a spoke on one of my rear offside wheels - it is about 3mm diameter.
Presumably the best way to tackle it is : rubbing it smooth with a little wet and dry, carefully building up a bit of silver touch up, rubbing flat with wet and dry and then applying some lacquer and rubbing that flat if need be before polishing.
Any better way?
Should I use primer - the surface underneath looks black\grey.
The car is silver anyway so presumably my touch up will be a reasonable match? I've read that some people use Avus paint but my 5 Star Alloys don't look Avus, no steely blue in them.
