Lower MPG after 1st AVS service

I'm baffled as to why after i got my car back from being serviced (and having flywheel changed incidently) my average MPG has fallen from 45 around town to 35???... or at least according to my DIS anyway.

Anyone else noticed this? Its a 2004 2.0 TDI sport by the way.

also got in the car before and noticed the numbers on gearstick wasn't straight - i twisted it and it moved slightly but now seems to twist very easily as if something isnt tightened correctly?? does this sound familiar?

to be totally honest my mpg has started really going up recently since hitting 18000 miles iv been getting an average of about 48mpg were as before i was only getting abput 40. sit tight it'll come good!!
