To fund a new venture. Has anyone sold or bought an A3 privately recently?

Mines a 1/3/2005 with the other details as below, plus 32k miles.

How much do you think I might get?

To be honest mate I think the mileage will let you down for the price you'll be able to get back for her. Mines the same age and only done 18k. There is one on AutoTrader (Private) for 17.5k with only 12k miles...

Glass's Guide (mileage adjusted) figure is £15275 trade and £17275 retail. Private sale £16000.

Yes I know but having a child stopped me getting the 3 door..
Trust me the 5 door grows on you
 
Dont forget the glasses guide wont take into account any optional extra's etc. The dealer will try to give you book trade on it and then sell it on the merits of the options. Worth negotiating :D

I sold my DSG S-Line with everything on it including Nav+ and 13k miles on it, when it was 9 months old for £19k. (£27k car new)


Mates girlfriend just bought a Red DSG tdi S-Line on a 55 plate and 4k miles with Bose, armrest, dimming mirror, rain sensors, Parking sensors and light pack, plus storage etc. but can't really count that, and she paid £16950 from a dealer down from £17950.

So I would have a go at advertising it around £16,950 mate and see what results you get, the 2.0tdi is a very desirable car and always sells really well privately.
 
£16-17k is OK isn't it?

What were you hoping to get for it?
