MY09 wing mirror indicator change

Does anyone know if the wing mirror needs to be completely removed to replace a cracked indicator (housing is fine) or can you just remove the innards with the mirror in place?

my manual is for the 08 model which has a different housing.

No mate just remove the cover & disconnect the indicator connector

You're a Star Nigel, took about 15 minutes, and that was because the indicator was a tight fit.
