A3 conversion questions

Hi I've been after a a3 black edition or s3 replica for a while now but can't find any decent ones in my price range.

Im now debating saucing a 2005ish standard car and fitting bumpers off a 2009 onwards and doing my own black edition look alike.

Im im sure this is killed to death but is it as simple as replacing bumpers or will it need wings and bonnet aswell?

If anyone's got any pics of there conversions post them up id like to see the potential. Is it a cost effective job or should I just continue saving up.
