iam have my car scanned on fri via vdcs , becouse when i start the car from cold it sounds like its missing , when warm you cant here it so much , i think its either my cam chain or a coil pack failed .

while there scanning my car what should i ask them to cheak . its had the recall on the coils 5 years ago.

had my car scanned on fri . wanted to use the vdcs but he used the Audi scanner because these are Audi specialists , sounded expensive at £11500 .
he scanned my car of all ecus found no fault and read all sensors . he said there was no slack in the chain , but what he did notice was cylinder 4 was had a higher reading than the rest but he said this is nothing to worry about 1,2,3,5,6 were reading 0.22-0.28 , cylinder 4 was 0.45 he said this is so slight .
when i got to his garage the car warm so hardly missing at all , but its only when i start from cold its very bad .
he said it wont be a coil pack because it more violent of a shake , hes known these engines break engine mounts from people driving with bad coils .
i cant under stand why its more from cold start , if it was coil would it be the same all the time .
oh and there is a CAN update for my car but dont think i need this .

its ok while driving you cant realy feel it . not sure if its down on power dont usaly drive it quick.

could it possibly be the battery low on power cousing lumpy tick over.
