weird question!

Hi,
those of you who have purchased your a3's brand new. When you went to pick up the car did u recieve the log book at the same time as picking it up or was it sent at a later date? (just wanted to know so that i can transfer my cherished plate)

It comes back to you from DVLA in a couple of weeks.
You should get them to transfer for you so its on the car when you pick it up

The V5 comes from the DVLA a week or so later.

It came in the post ...... as the log book for all the new cars I've bought.
