Noise on Lock/Unlock

Hi All,

I've got a 2003 Audi A3 2.0TDI and i'd like it to make some sort of an alarm tone on lock/unlock.

At the moment if I lock the car with the windows down and you stick your arm in the hazards lights come on, which is pretty useless if you ask me.

Is this possible using a vag-com to set with a vag-com or would I need an alarm installed? I've seen something about adding 1024 to something on your vag-com?

Yes you can code a horn, with vcds, to beep with lock & unlock, but tbh it sounds awful.

- When you say code a horn, is it actually using the standard horn? Or is it a similar tone?
