Had 17" Rims and thinner tyres for a while now and just wondering if i just invest in lowering the car, is it beneficial?

Yes, and it also stops illegal immigrants hiding in the gap between tyre and arch

yes unless you like the 4x4 look , what size tyres did you go for then ?

What are decent recommended lowering springs?

That just doesn't look right at all... not even a little bit. I don't think I've seen someone fit smaller wheels but somehow go up before.

Looks like you need bigger wheels and you need to go lower!!

Definitely needs lowering imo and road handling should also improve as with the looks :)

Also not sure myself but the audi TT needs tie bars so the tyres do not wear on the inner camber!, what's the set up like when lowering the A3 ? Or don't they need any?.

Yes definitely needs to be lowered!!!

I've got a set of almost brand new H&R spring which I had them on my previous A3 for approx 3-4 months time and then sold the car...

I could take some pics if interested! PM for more details...

However if you want to go for coilovers then go for AP coilovers :)

Cheers
