Does the current A3 with climate control have a cooled glovebox?

nope - i know as I have had the glove box out to fit the IPOD kit, there is nowt' to cool it

No, but a Skodia Fabia does. How does that work???

no - but there is a glovebox coolbox option on some audi's. It's a bit crap though, beng just about big enough to store a can or couple of big chocolate bars.

I have seen the Skoda cooled glovebox.. It is just a airline from the aircon system and a rotary flap that you open or close depending whether you want it cooled or not. Why not just do the same by plumbing a small hose from one of the air pipes supplying the dash vents to a small unobtrusive hole in the glove box..hey presto cooled gloveboxes and no more melted chocolate!!

The new golfs have this feature too. I had one as a loan car whilst I waited for delivery of my Sportback. Once you're used to it you kind of miss it when it's not there.
