50K Service? 2003 Audi A3 2L TDI

Hello All,

I've got a 2003 Audi A3 2.0TDI and it's just coming up to 50K and in need of a service (annoying spanner light).

Each person I speak to gives different answers and no-one has given a proper solid answer. I'm just wondering what stuff should be checked on it's 50K service.

I know the long life oil is common sense, along with the filter but i'm just wondering what else? My local Audi/VW specialist has quote £130 for the service (oil - oil filter - car inspection).

The reason for taking the car to a garage is because i'd like to keep my booked stamp as it has been up until now.

Any help would be appreciated.

When was Cambelt and water pump last done?

They're due early next year. It's being done on time rather than mileage as the car's only got 48K.
