Hey,

So, the boost hoses leaking is, I am led to believe, a common problem. Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the seals, and if you can buy just the seals? Or can you only buy the boost pipes and, am I better just replacing the pipes and seals at the same time?

Rough cost and place to go? GSF maybe? I used to get all my bits from there for my MK2 Golf GTi...

Thanks,

Dan

Limited vehicle details added, gonna go with my
gut.

Part numbers below,

3C0145117H x2 £5.28 each. inc vat.

3C0145117F x2 £7.34 each inc vat.

1J0145769H x 2 (retaining clips) £1.12 each inc vat.

So that's for both ends of the L shaped pipe and the 'S' shaped one. The ones that immediately come out of the intercooler on a diesel (example BKD)

Replacements are green in colour.

Problem solved.

Depending on mileage you may find the lugs on the pipes themselves are worn :(

1K0145832E - Offside hose. £89.60 Inc Vat. Includes seals. (Based on a BKD engine)
