I must say I've never had to refill my windscreen washer bottle so often on other cars before I got my A3.

I seem to be re-filling every 2 weeks at present.

The A3 has either got a very small bottle or the washer jets use a lot of water per go.

Have any of you found the same thing this winter?

Yes - I ended up reducing the concentration of the screen wash because it was getting really expensive.

you got Xenon's on yours chaps?

most of my screen wash ends up over the bonnet and wings!

No, no xenons on mine.

Hadn't realised xenon's had the headlamp wipers - that's even worse then? You must have refill every week?

Without Xenons the screen wash container holds 3 litres and with Xenons and the headlight washing system it holds 5.5 litres.

3 litres!! Is that all!! No wonder I'm refilling so often.

Recently, with all the slush and salt spray, I run out after 2 weeks - 50 miles per day on the M6.

The wife's Corolla's bottle must be twice the size of that! (Hope that doesn't sound dodgy?) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

3 litres sounds real small!! Mine lasts an age between fill ups, not really noticed a problem, i usually do a quick short wash of the screen to avoid the headlamp washers firing up and leaving streaks over the bonnet!
