Cat back dsg burp

If i get a cat back exhaust will it enhance dsg fart/burp. Cant hear it at all with standard exhaust. Ive got an a3 8p3 2.0tfsi quattro (not s3)

I have a miltek cat back and I think it does but mine is an S3

think the fart noise only happens in the s3 models. My old a3 in DSG didnt do it although it was a diesel but my friends DSG 2.0tfsi doesnt do it either

I think the s3 has a louder exhaust as standard but not sure. I just got my mum to pull away quickly and change gear around 3k while i was standing behind and there is definitely a faint burp on gear change but not very noticeable. Is your mates standard too?

I have a 2.0T DSG

I also get a loud pop or burp on the exhaust whenever I shift.

I think if you change up your exhaust, the pop or burp sound will most definitely be amplified.
