Hi guys. Im thinking of selling my sportback a3 and wanting to know what its worth and potentially gauging some interest. Don't drive it as much due to my company car and also looking to free up some cash for a house.

The car is a 2006 55 plate audi a3 s line dsg. It has:

just hit 100k miles
full service history
plenty of receipts for the work its had carried out. Ive covered like 6/7k miles in the 2 and a bit years of ownership.
vosa print out for mileage and mot
tax until august this year and mot until september
ive recently changed all discs and pads
Brand new rear shock absorbers
Replaced rear camber arms and aligned using hunters
dsg oil change
cambelt done at 85k
Egr valve replaced for a brand new one
new driveshafts
flywheel clatters occasionally but my local vag specialist has said it doesn't need changing yet for a while
rear parking sensors
cruise control
bi xenon headlights
bose sound
rnse sat nav unit with bluetooth and phone cradle on the dash
Paddle shift
Two keys

I carried out a 8p3 facelift. It has:

Updated wings, bonnet, slam panel and genuine S3 front bumper with the black edition front grill
Bi xenon headlights
2011 wing mirrors painted matt silver and manually fold upwards
genuine S3 side skirts
half leather s line seats and arm rest
19" genuine RS3 rotar arm alloys 8.0j ET50
S3 rear bumper with diffuser
Custom back box delete
S3 rear spoiler.
Late a3 dash vents
front lower splitter wrapped in matt silver

i have receipts for all my parts that were used for the conversion. A majority of parts were bought from TPS.

Drives really well with no issues. Theres no two ways about my car. Its also finished in the jet black colour which i think is the same as the actual S3 black. recently clayed and detailed using autoglym, angelwax and collinite. Glass sealed with angel wax h2go and wheels with poorboys. Well taken care off. Washed polished and waxed regularly and it does show in the body work how good it is.
Never been remapped and pulls as it should...car is actually in excellent condition.

My progress thread is:

Look forward to some replies...will get some decent pictures up soon.

Cheers

Well about 5,500 for the base car with milage. Add on a bit for the alloys and you never recoup facelift costs.

I wouldn't pay more than 6250 for it at a push and then i'd probably want the OEM parts so I can flip it at OEM spec and sell on the parts that are probably worth more off a TDI than on one.

Lovely looking car no-doubt, but a tarted up 100k TDI at the end of the day. Try and find an enthusiast who will love it as much as you and pay over the odds for the facelift factor.

Then again, I know nothing of these things. Just armchair opinion.

^ thanks for your opinion wuta

I might even put it back to standard if i can find the time.

Forgot to mention, lowered on eibach sportline spring also.

Yea read through your build thread, it's only my personal opinion but doesn't matter if it was gold plated, there is still a 100k TDI lump under the bonnet. Just my opinion, unless you can find somebody to pay for/appriciate the mods, it's just a prettier TDI A3.

That looks lovely from that picture bud! Nice to see you have looked after her well!
