    Question S3 clutch fault ??

Hi guys just bought my S3 2007 a week ago, and been out in it alot this weekend, gave it abit off beans now and then abd it seems the clutch pedal is getting closer and closer to the floor on take off. Seems then after a short easy drive be ok again?

have noticed abit of a clunk some times when driving like miss daisy and changing gears also?

would first protocall be looking at mounts and get the clutch fluid changed and bleed it, or does that sound like clutch is nearly on its way out?

only asking as most cars the clutch seems tomget highter when they om there way out mine is geting lower?

i also had 3 months warranty would this be covered do you think?

all help would be much appreciated

If you've got a 3 month warranty from a trader then you should be covered .

Just a quick update if anyone can advise???

It seems to only get low after giving it some beans in 1st and 2nd??

But then drive nice for 2 minutes and the clutch seems to go back to normal?

Could it be master or slave cylinder?

I have an 09 model and sometimes if I clutch in really quick at low speeds (parking lots, slow in busy traffic) I hear a clunk with squeek type noise. Sounds even worse in undercover car parks. Don't like the sound of it so will get it checked out soon. Only 40k kms on the odom. 2nd owner.

Doesn't sound good does it mate,

Are these the correct part numbers for the updated Sachs clutch?

    883082 999787 -cover
    881864 999502 -plate

Any one with fly wheel pt no and concentric slave pt no would be grateful.

    Thank you

Bit of a quick look underneath and I can see abit of a leak from the transfer box I think it is?

Or is there something above that that's leaking on to it? Pictures added .image.jpg
