i have a significantly large dent in my drivers side door and i have found a same-colour cheap door shell on ebay.

Is this a matter of prizing-off a few parts and unscrewing some screws to replace the door shell or am i just heading into a minefield considering i am going to have to contend with changing the door locks and window mechanism's, etc.

any advise would be greatly recommended, i really want to stay clear of expensive costs at the bodyshop.

You will need to swap everything across if its the whole door.

ok thanks, how difficult is this going to be do you think.
i have changed bumpers and do my own servicing but i am not familiar with this sort of task. is this something you recommend as 'DIY' or best left to the pro's?

I don't know your level of technical ability mate, but door top of, looms pulled through, motor removed, door lock etc.

I can do for you if interested, takes a little while & you would have to help just to hang the door itself & rest I can do & remove any errors on the cars systems.

I have a job coming up in Harrow shortly for brakes systems, so can maybe do the same day.
