How do you replace wiring loom, different model?

I have a bkd engine, A3 2.0l TDI 140.
i had problem with 2 glow plugs and thought while replacing all of the glow plugs, I might as well replace the wiring loom which commonly fails on this type of engine apparently.
i have bought the part 03G 971 033 L which the shop insists is the correct one.
the new one comes with screws while the old was held in place with 3 clips. I cannot fit the new one because the clips are in the way.

does anyone know how to fit the new wiring loom?

I can upload a picture if necessary.

The 3 clips needed to be removed with an Allen key, in case anyone go through it in the future. The 3 screws are the same as the wiring loom or harness.
