Reprogram key

Good Evening All,

I have recently acquired a second spare key for my 2010 Audi 2.0 TDI Sportback. I am trying to program it to my car do it locks and unlocks the car but not having much luck. Have read various guides online but nothing. Has anyone actually managed to do this successfully? The key is 8P0 837 220 D. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

U will have to take it to Audi to get coded.
I took my spare to bits to change the buttons, must have had it apart too long and it does the same as urs, only locks and unlocks.
Tried the method in the owners book but to no avail.

Mines slightly different, I only want mine to lock and unlock, at the moment it does nothing. The only thing I have done is put a new blade on it so it fits the door

You dont have to take it to Audi as there are afew guys on here who recode keys. @udi_A3 (Tom) does this. I will PM him to respond to you

is is the correct part number remote? because not just any old fib will do that looks the same. You need an 8P0 remote
