Apologies for not looking for the previous steering thread.

My car was in for the steering problem again today.

They said they got it to do it,by leaving the car for a while then trying some fast steering manouvres,but......................

Wait for it............

It's normal...

I give up,I truly do.

the New A3 i borrowed had really Light Steering. Made my 3.2 feel like it had no power steering at all /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The adjustments they have made on mine, after telling me that they had found nothing wrong, seem to have made it a little better - I have to be quite violent to make it play up. But then again, that's what you are likely to be in an emergency, when you will suddenly find the proverb "less haste more speed" would have been something useful to obey, as that juggernaut slams into the side of you.

I've given up. Unless it gets acutely worse, I can't be bothered to try and convince Audi it needs fixing.

Same here.
In exasperation,I told the dealer I'll wait until it packs in altogether.
Unlikely,I know, but it's the only way they'll take the bleeding complaint seriously.
