I think I saw it once, but it was custom exhaust + modded bumper. Not common tho.
Depending on the layout of your boot underside, MK4 R32 backbox will fit. I know it does fit perfectly on A3 3.2 I'm told

Mine is quattro, so I'm guessing that space might be tight!

The 3.2 is Quattro as is the R32 (they call it 4motion), if anything, your rear diff and/or shafts would be smaller, hence you'd have more space. I've seen a picture somewhere of a guy who's done it, some modification of the splitter was needed.
One way to get an idea is to compare pictures of your backbox to a R32 backbox. Should get a good idea of mods needed, if any.

Does anyone have the imagery from 3.2 and my quattro to compare against?
Also, are there any donor valances that would fit my original bumper with the dual exit?
