help!!! 2004 audi a3, car will lock but wont unlock using fob or key!!!

Been working fine until i just tried man handling my locking wheel nut out (dont know if this caused it???)
the car will lock and the boot will open but wont unlock with the fob or key -.-

There isn't nothing you can catch what would do that in the boot if that's where your locking key was,check the fuses would be a good start

I solved the problem for anyone having the same problem, just removed the battery out of the key fob waited a few mins and put it back it now works perfect again, weird...
