Hesitation in every gear!

Got a problem with my 2009 s3, it hesitates in every gear between 3k-4k rpm and feels really sluggish, it's completely standard too!

Sounds like the diverter valve could be faulty.
Pretty easy replacement on the S3 I'm sure there's a guide on here somewhere,
It maybe worth checking what revision you have on an 09 plate, The part number will end in either C or D

I thought it was that I changed it on my last s3 too, going to check tomorrow

Yeah check the diaphragm for splitting and if so get a GFB DV+ valve on it. Far more reliable as it doesnt have a diaphragm inside. It has a little check piston and slide instead.

The other possibility is tired plugs.....hesitation on mine usually means the plugs are on their way out.
